Longer Walks
  • Download the complete Exeter Creen Circle Route here. Although the walk is 12.5 miles long, stretches can be done separately.

New additions to our collection of walks feature routes using data from OpenStreetMap. These maps are generally far more up to date as they take into account any recent changes to paths and tracks. New bridge for walkers across M5 nr Exeter

Redhayes bridge for walkers and cyclists spanning the M5 between Gypsy Hill Lane and Blackhorse Lane has finally been opened. This will make a significant difference and restore the link severed by the motorway. The bridge was made in Wales and assembled on tower structures before being swung into position - both the M5 and Exeter Airport were closed during this operation.First of the 520 truckloads arrived on December 8th.The bridge ranks as the first in the UK to be built following and at the same time defining the new structural eurocodes. There are some stunning views of the Exe estuary.

The Exmouth to Topsham Estuary Trail has been completed.

You can now cycle or walk from Darts Farm / Ebford to Exmouth via Exton & Lympstone.
