Distance:3.5 miles
Difficulty:
This short walk starts in the idyllic village of Brampford Speke and partly follows the Exe Valley Way; the church of Upton Pyne is well worth visit
Brampford Speke enjoys a good food pub called the Lazy Toad Inn - unfortunately The Exe Valley Tea Shop no longer exists.
There are no pubs in Upton Pyne.
Jane Austen possibly visited the area when she wrote Sense and Sensibility.
This is an easy and one of our most popular walks following part of the Devonshire Heartland Way.
