Walk 1 to Locksbridge Tea Garden (5 miles)
Difficulty

A delightful circular tea-shop walk along large sections of the Templer Way.
- The route is mainly flat and the paths are generally wide making it an easy walk.
- Locksbridge Tea Garden is located near Teigngrace (TQ12 6QP).
- Do check for opening hours.

- The route without stopping should take 2.5 hours so allow at least 4 hours when parking at Pay & Display Car Park.

This popular but quite strenuous 5 mile hike includes several steep ascents and descents.
It runs through Newton Abbot's town centre to 2 idyllically situated old churches ( Wolborough & High Week). It follows part of the river Lemon valley and joins the Templer Way at the end.
Views of Newton Abbot and the Teign Valley are breathtaking.
