Traces of a Roman fort were found nearby.

You do not need to be a member to do both delightful walks.
Restaurant and house are closed between November and April - see NT website for opening hours.

Difficulty

This very pleasant but quite strenuous walk combines the Killerton estate with Bolham.

It follows quiet lanes and public & permissive footpaths.

Stretches at the top can be muddy.
