Please note:'Purple' Stretch across field to Turf Hotel can be quite muddy. Instead , continue along the 'blue' route.

Next, the route follows an old path , beside the river Exe, to the Turf Hotel and finishes with a track through a nature reserve with picnic tables and bird hides.
