This is a very popular and easy walk ; just follow the Exe Valley Way signs or download the route.
It can also be done in reverse with easy parking at Bickleigh Mills.
You will notice part of a railway line that once connected Bickleigh to Tiverton, the Exe Valley Railway. This branch line, operated by the Great Western Railway, opened on 1 May 1885 and ran from Stoke Canon (near Exeter) through the Exe Valley to Tiverton.
