This delightful walk starts on the outskirts of Newton Poppleford and crosses the Otter via a footbridge into Harpford village.

You follow the East Devon Way and the Coleridge Link into Harpford Wood and return using an old footpath with splendid views of the Otter Valley.
Footpaths and tracks well maintained making it an ideal walk throughout the year.
You may wish to take some refreshments at the famous Bowd Inn ,returning via a now disused railway.
