Saltram House dates back to the 16th century, but the house seen today was mainly developed in the 18th century when it was transformed it into an impressive Georgian country house.
You do not need to be a member to do both delightful walks.
Restaurant and house are closed between November and April - see NT website for opening hours.

River Plym, Ampitheatre, Views of Blaxton Meadow
Stunning views across the Plym Estuary and Blaxton Saltmarsh , excellent birdwatching (especially wintering waders), and views of the grand Georgian mansion.
