The paths are well signed and the rich fauna, particularly in early summer, is a treat to behold.
The walk runs through one farm.

How to follow a GPX / FIT route |
A With back to village hall, turn right then almost immediately left into a lane.
Continue until it bends sharply towards the church. Take track on left. Almost immediately where the track bends right take a footpath on you left and cross the field heading South West - do not take foot path on left which leads South along a hedge.
Continue heading South West.
B When reaching a lane turn right then , soon , take the next lane left.
Just before the Corry Brook and the low footbridge crossing the ford take foot path on right.
At a residential area turn right after a bend onto a footpath. Keep Corry Brook on your right.
C At the lane turn right then almost immediately left and continue for 480m along a footpath.
When joining a country lane turn right and then left onto a narrow lane. After 160 m turn right onto a public footpath.
Follow this path , cross a lane then continue for half a mile.
D After crossing the brook again you join North Hill lane.
Turn left along the lane then turn right at the junction and after 3/4 of a mile take a footpath on your right.
E Descend back to Stockland.

This walk gives you a flavour of the beautiful area surrounding Stockland. It follows public footpaths and quiet green lanes.
After heavy rain some stretches can be muddy.
Follow the walk 1 instructions then at C turn right and cross the Corry Brook.
At Hornshayes Knapp Cross ignore lane on right and after 320 m turn right onto a track , slightly hidden.
Follow this track back to the Stockland's church.
In the summer this may get overgrown.
