The Walk

A From the car park turn left and walk towards the church. Cross the busy A30 and turn right taking the pavement on left of road,

After 100m cross the road again and turn into a lane.

B After 105 m take public footpath on your left just before a drive to a house.

Follow this path , cross another lane, and continue along path into the woods.

At the end turn left onto a lane then soon take footpath on right at the edge of the forest.

Follow this public footpath for almost 3/4 of a mile until you reach the A30. Stay at the the same level and ignore track going down on left.

C Take care when crossing the busy road and continue along another footpath.

Once out of the forest you descend through fields to a lane.

D At the lane go through gate and turn left past the farm . Soon where the lend bends to the right follow footpath sign and goo left ; this stretch turns into a track.

As you descend you should notice another footpath leading up to a farm. Ignore this and continue down

E At the far corner of the field is an entrance to another field. Once in field keep hedge on right. Go through a gap and head towards the corner of a lane.

F At the end follow a track , then continue along track between two houses. This could be muddy.

Follow this path back to Yarcombe.
