The only way across is via some dodgy stepping stones. If you think it's safe, take this and follow the path, west, along the river.
The route climbs, at times steeply , towards the somewhat remote village of Bridford with its 16th century Church and 17th Century village pub.
The walk then returns along the fast flowing river Teign.
