Walk 1 Dalwood to Danes Hill (2.2 miles)
Difficulty:
This delightful walk starts in Dalwood and climbs steadily to its highest point, Danes Hill, following theOrange Way , a long distance hiking route.
It is said , the Romans used to grow vines on Danes Hill.
As you go up the hill and look left you will see Dalwood Vineyard - the wine can be sampled at the Tuckers Arms.
There is one steady climb.
Walk 2 Dalwood to Burrow Farm Gardens (2.7 miles)
Difficulty:
This walk passes Burrow Farm Gardens , a secluded 13-acre garden with many unusual trees, shrubs and herbaceous plants , open to the public between April and October with tea room and nursery - for more information click here.
Walk 3 Dalwood to Burrow Farm Gardens (4.1 miles)
Difficulty:
A longer but equally pleasant walk to Burrow Farm Gardens via Devils Copse.
The garden is also well known for it's wild flowers.
