| Walk 2 Chudleigh to Trusham (5.5 miles) |
Difficulty:![]()

This pub walk , though quite strenuous , takes you into remote Devon following public footpaths and quiet lanes.
It starts with a steady climb out of Chudleigh past an old convent along the 'Orange Way' , a long distance hiking route.
At the top of the hill it turns inland into remote Devon.

It follows more country lanes than public foot paths thus making it not a dog walk. Part of the footpath, near Ranscombe, can be quite tricky.
However, there are some very rewarding views and moments of utter tranquility walking through a most undisturbed part of Devon.
