This walk starts in Feniton and follows the Old Route of the LSWR Branch Line,along the Otter.

It leads to the charming hamlet of Talford and passes the delightful Escot church - this now stands quite isolated from Escot House due to the construction of the new A30, when dozens of protestors — including Swampy— caused a major upheaval by building a network of tunnels and camping in trees.

The walk takes you through part of Escot Park designed by Capability Brown in the 18th century.
He introduced a new style of landscape with serpentine lakes and clumps of trees standing in vivid contrast against smooth undulating grass running straight to the house.
A popular walk throughout the year but especially during the festive season .
No steep climbs.
