Difficulty:
This quite strenuous but rewarding pub walk to North Molton,a charming village , also unaffected by change and ,perhaps importantly, boasting a pub (the Poltimore Inn) !
The Walk
AFrom Car park head towards the A361 following Station Road
B The walk passes Riverside Caravan & Camping Park
It continues towards - but does not cross - Bicknor Bridge.
C From here it follows the river Mole on your right
D At the T junction turn left into East Street towards the North Molton's Pubs & Church.
EJust before a garage on right where the lane splits take left fork (Burcombe Hill) then almost immediately take Holdridge Lane on left.
The lane becomes a track as you descend fairly steeply towards the river and Bicknor Bridge.
Turn right and retrace steps back to car park
