The Walk
A From the car park walk towards Sidford. Turn left at Church Street, the main Roman Road between Exeter and Lyme Regis, then right at the traffic lights. Continue along Two Bridge Road then soon left into Brook Lane.
B Follow lane for about half a mile then turn right on to a public footpath (signed) .
Continue along this pleasant path until you finally reach a farm field & gate. Move diagonally right towards another gate .Turn left into a country lane.
C At T junction you will notice some steps leading onto a footpath.
Caution, steps are steep and stile is awkward. Sticks are recommended.
Cross field and aim for the woods straight ahead.
Look for a small gate at the entrance of the woods - gate is on your left .
From here you climb onto Core Hill. This is the steepest part!
D There is an option to follow a public footpath along Core Hill - notice the old boundary banks. There are no views.
E From here the walking is down hill with great views of Bulverton Hill.
Use the traffic island to cross the A3052 .
Continue straight on into an old lane.
FTurn left into a path and continue until some steps on your right. Take the steps right then continue left onto Woodbrook Rise.
At T junction turn left into High Meadow then follow a path ahead on right. Cross Manstone Lane then continue along path to main road.
G Turn left then soon right into an alley to Sidmouth College. Continue for a short time then join a path (right) along the college.
When you join Primley Mead (residential) turn right then left.
H At the T junction cross over into path which joins the cycle path between Sidmouth and Sidford. Turn left.
