This truly delightful and relatively easy walk through a completely unspoilt part of Devon has a pub the Half Moon as a convenient halfway stop.

The return journey takes you towards the Somerset border following the river Culme along which wool was once stretched.
It follows public footpaths and quiet lanes.
Some stretches may become muddy after heavy rain.
