This is a long but delightful walk initially along tranquil country lanes with beautiful rolling landscapes , banks full of wild flowers and ye olde hamlets.
Next, the route follows an old path ,beside the river Exe, to the Turf Hotel and finishes with a track through a nature reserve with picnic tables and bird hides.
A busy road and railway line from Exeter to Dawlish and has to be crossed. |
A small section near the nature reserve may be wet.
This is an ideal pub walk.
