Elephants Nest Pub Moorland

Walks start in Mary Tavy and pass the famous Elephant's Nest pub.

Walk 1 (5.4 miles)

Difficulty:

This delightful & varied 5 mile hike follows the Dartmoor Way to Peter Tavy

It turns East into a bridle way and later a footpath crossing a moor towards Boulters Tor.
You return via Horndon not far from the Elephant's Nest.

At the pub (PL19 9NQ) , for those who do not mind wetlands & steep ladders across hedges, there is an alternative way via Kingsett Farm - see RED dotted line on map NOT included in the gpx file.
