Walk 1 Castle & Nunney Brook (2.8 miles)
A short and delightful walk along stretches of the Nunney Brook to the Castle and the site of a Roman Villa following mainly public footpaths.
A From the car park walk down Castle Hill into Nunney. Turn left into Castle Street .
At the castle turn right onto a public footpath and a footbridge across the Nunney Brook. Turn left onto Church Street.
B Turn left into Donkey Lane and continue for 320 m . Just before bridge turn right onto a public footpath keeping the Nunney Brook on your left.
C Follow the brook for just over half a mile ; at the next bridge turn right - you can cross the bridge then take the next track on your right.
D Where the footpath turns into a lane take track on your right.
E After a mile take footpath on right and return to the castle.
