Walk 1 Mount Edgcumbe to Kings and (6.5 miles)

Difficulty

From the car park in Cremyll this delightful walk follows the South West Coast Path through Edgcumbe park to Picklecombe Point and its 19th century Fort, now converted to flats.

It continues along one of the most beautiful stretches of the Cornish coastline with extensive views of Plymouth Sound, then descends into Kingsands, which boasts 3 pubs, the Rising Sun,the Devon Port Innand the Halfway House.

It is worth exploring this picture-postcard village and Cawsand.

The walk steadily climbs towards the church of St Julian & St Mary on the edge of Edgecumbe park then descends toMillbrook Lake and passes on old windmill and obelisk - parts of the path can me muddy after heavy rainfall.
