Lanhydrock,once part of a priory, offers the walker the perfect tranquil landscape to explore.

 

You do not need to be a member to do this walk!

Walk 1 (2.7 miles)

A From the car park walk to the house . Continue past the house then before the toilets and cafe turn left onto a track .

Follow track into the woods until you reach a lane Ignore any path on either side.

B Turn left into the lane then , soon , take the next turning left keeping the stream on your right.

C At the gate turn right into a path.
After crossing the stream bear left and continue with river on your left.

D Just before the river Fowey bear left and continue . Cross Kathleen Bridge, then immediately turn left into another footpath - do not go under the railway bridge.

Continue along the Fowey until you reach a lane.

E Turn left, cross the Fowey then before the late splits take a hardened track on left signed Lanhydrock and continue back to Lanhydrock's main entrance.
