This is a long but delightful walk initially along tranquil country lanes with beautiful rolling landscapes , banks full of wild flowers and ye olde hamlets. Next, the route follows an old path ,beside the river Exe, to the Turf Hotel and finishes with a track through a nature reserve with picnic tables and bird hides.
A small section near the nature reserve may be wet. This is an ideal pub walk. Past Swan's Nest over railway bridge then sharp right Or Kenton main carpark
There is one steep climb. |
