This walk crosses the famous Steps Bridge passing Dunsford nature reserve well known for its carpets of wild daffodils.

Note: When you join the main road to Moretonhampstead, you will notice a footpath, on the other side, leading to the river Teign, The only way across is via some dodgy stepping stones.

If you think it's safe, take this and follow the path, west, along the river.
It climbs, at times steeply , towards the somewhat remote village of Bridford with its 16th century Church and 17th Century village pub, recently reopened.
The walk then returns along the fast flowing river Teign.
