Best Lympstone Walk

Lympstone boasts a little harbour and three pubs,the Swan Inn,the Globe Inn and the Redwing Inn.

Name means Levene's farm/settlement'.
During the Viking raids the inhabitants had to flee to Woodbury Common.

Peter's Tower on the riverfront is a brick clock tower built around 1885 by W.H. Peters as a memorial to his wife.

This is an easy and varied walk ; after heavy rain some stretches can become quite muddy.
