This is a pleasant, moderately long walk from Feniton to Ottery St Mary, following mostly public footpaths and tracks, with no steep climbs or strenuous sections.

The route follows part of the old Feniton to Ottery St Mary railway line.
It takes you past Cadhay Barton, a stone courtyard house built around 1550 - garden and house are open to the public on Fridays from May to end of September.
