Exton lies conveniently on the popular Estuary Trail between Topsham and Exmouth.

	Walk 1 Lympstone & Woodbury (5.8 miles)

This varied 2 hour walk starts at Exton, known for its pub, the Puffing Billy, and follows footpaths to Woodbury; using mainly country lanes it then gently descends via Lympstone to join the recently opened Exmouth to Topsham Estuary Trail which runs along the stunning Exe estuary.

You are bound to meet at least one train and perhaps see the Marines training.

The walk can also start from Woodbury.

Exeter to Exmouth Road has to be crossed twice - once without pedestrian crossing lights
