The Walk
A From the centre of Moretonhampstead turn into Cross Street direction Exeter.
Turn left into a park then continue through a graveyard.
At Lime Street turn right.
After bridge turn left into a public footpath.
B The walk gently climbs towards Cranbrook through quite a secluded part of Devon.
C At the top you can enjoy some spectacular glimpses of Dartmoor.
D Cranbrook Castle is an iron age hill fort and can be visited en route.
E Caution: There are some some awkward stiles to negotiate making the walk unsuitable for those with restricted mobility.
