Difficulty:

A delightful walk offering extensive views & following mainly public footpaths.

There is no pub en route.

The Walk

AFrom Market Street turn into B3186, direction Torr.
Continue down hill and cross the river Yealm then turn left on to public footpath.

Follow this path which is part of the Erme-Plym Trail.

B Continue along this path with river on your left for 0.9 miles .

Just before a lane take a footpath on right. At the end of the path turn right towards Dunstone.

Continue through the village - do not turn right in the village.

C At the end of the 20 mile speed limit turn right onto a public footpath.

Continue through several fields until you reach a lane, at Fursdon. Turn right ,continue along track and across a stream onto a footpath through a wooded area.

D Follow path until you come to a junction of lanes. Turn right and soon take a public footpath on left. Continue in the direction of Yealmpton ; turn right when you join a lane.

E At the next cross roads turn left, then after 150 m turn right onto a footpath, cross footbridge and continue with stream on left.

Cross lane and continue along a footpath. At the B3186 turn right.
