Bow Creek & Malster's Arms (2.9 miles)

Difficulty:

A most scenic pub walk from Cornworthy Church near Dittisham.

Although short (2.9 miles) , allow for at least 1.5 hours , as the route involves one steepish climb.

The walk follows part of the Dart Valley Trail using public footpaths and quiet lanes.

A pretty path follows the Bow Creek, a tranquil tributary of the river Dart, to Tuckenhay.

Should you wish to visit the Malster's Arms, turn right ,cross the bridge then right again at the T junction - distance to pub: 200 m (5 mins)

Tuckenhay , in the mid 19th century , exported rope, cider , paper (Tuckenhay Mill) and lime . Lime was used as a fertilizer.
